Instagram viewer: questions and answers

Can I view an Instagram profile without an account?

Yes, public profiles. Type the username to see the bio, the counts, the posts and reels, and the current stories and highlights. You don’t need an Instagram account.

Can I see private Instagram accounts?

These tools are made for public accounts. For a private account you normally see only the profile card — name, picture and counts — and a message instead of its posts and stories.

Does the account see that I looked at it?

Your Instagram account is never used, so nothing is shown under your name.

Do I need to install an app?

No. It runs in your browser on iPhone, Android and computers.

Need this in your app? Every lookup here is one call to the REST API. Send your key in the X-API-Key header and you get the same JSON.
